In 2019 access to the every changing technology continues to pose opportunities for educators to incorporate technology in a positive manner into the classroom. Whether teaching a face-to-face course, a hybrid course, or a 100% online course, utilizing a video conferencing program is essential to the engagement of students.

With the accessibility of “anywhere” an article was posted in the International Review of Research in Open and Distributed Learning regarding mobile learning with handheld devices and study locations. Interestingly enough, tablets were used primarily at home and smartphones were used while traveling, in public places or on vacation.
