Many times people ask me, “how do you do it?” I guess because I’ve done it for so long I often dismiss the question or nod it off. Every now and then, I have that moment when I actually think to myself, “how do I do it” and I realized that all things work together for my good.
Technology has helped me manage my life as a wife, mother, business professional and student. I use my calendar to track where I need to be and when I need to be there. This is for family, work, and my social life. By no means do I think my way is the only way, but it is what works for me.
Education has always been important to me even if I took the scenic route to get my degrees. Online education provides the convenience and opportunity to get a degree while managing a household and a career. Working in higher education has taught me that instruction must change because the students are different. If I can use technology to help me manage my life, I can certainly learn how to develop course instruction for distance education and high engagement learning environments.
